To commemorate AC/DC's 50-year reign as the world's greatest rock band, their entire discography is being released in a special gold vinyl edition. The third and final wave of these releases comes out on September 27th and is now available for pre-order.
The 6 new titles available are: Flick Of The Switch, Fly On The Wall, Blow Up Your Video, Black Ice, Live At River Plate and their latest album, Power Up. Each of these limited-edition vinyl records features its own design with the new AC/DC 50 artwork, perfect for framing.
AC/DC's Power Up Tour 2024 has seen the band perform for over 1.3 million fans across Europe. Fans have also enjoyed the AC/DC Dive Bars in Seville, Gelsenkirchen, Munich, and London (with Paris coming soon), where thousands have been able to see iconic memorabilia, get AC/DC tattoos, meet other fans, and purchase exclusive merchandise.
The final wave of AC/DC 50 gold vinyl editions includes six more classics, completing one of the greatest rock 'n' roll album collections of all time. Throughout their career, AC/DC has sold over 90 million albums in the United States, and the band has also reached the milestone of over a billion streams in the UK.
FLICK OF THE SWITCH
The self-produced album saw the band return to the rawer sound of their early records. Tracks like "Bedlam In Belgium" and "Nervous Shakedown" remain fan favorites 40 years later.
FLY ON THE WALL
This 1985 album was the band's first to be produced exclusively by Angus and Malcolm Young. It was accompanied by a full-length video of the same name, featuring the band performing five tracks from the album.
BLOW UP YOUR VIDEO
Initially released in 1988 and recorded in London and the South of France, the album features "Heatseeker" and "That's The Way I Wanna Rock 'n' Roll" among other tracks.
BLACK ICE
Released in the autumn of 2008, the album saw the band work with producer Brendan O'Brien for the first time. They have since collaborated on "Rock Or Bust" in 2014 and "Power Up" in 2020. "Black Ice" was AC/DC's first UK No. 1 album since "Back In Black" and their first US No. 1 since "For Those About To Rock."
LIVE AT RIVER PLATE
Recorded, along with a live film directed by David Mallet, on December 4, 2009, at the second of three sold-out concerts at Argentina's legendary River Plate Stadium, as part of the Black Ice Tour, before more than 60,000 spectators.
POWER UP
AC/DC's latest album, released in November 2020, was their first in six years. Released to critical and public acclaim, it topped the charts in 21 countries, and the resulting European tour saw the band perform for over a million fans.
