Two textures are explored here: origin and search; wood and metal; flesh and bone; warmth and abyss; hand and infinity; pink and blue…\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOral [pink] is home, is song, is table, is collective singing, is the love story, is the mother, is the woman, is heartbreak and flower. Compositionally, it is built with more complex but luminous harmonies, with strings, voice, and guitar as main elements; drums also appear.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAbisal [blue] is the search, it is the deep, the dreamlike, introspective singing, crystal, seas, the unknown, the nights. Musically it is broader, deeper, fewer chords, more cyclic, more liquid. The main elements here are metals: horns; flutes also appear.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOral_Abisal is a back and forth between the known and the unknown; between where we come from and where we would like to go: “If you don't want to get lost, always think in spirals, remember where you come from and you will heal all your ills.” This duality is born from a constant search, from investigating the extremes to find the grays, the points of union, the liquid, the water, the voice. A search that already began in Género imposible, a show that became a song a few years ago. “Naming is impossible” (there is no good or bad, no up or down, no sides or edges, no limits or center…) Sílvia returns to produce and in this search has tried to work two spaces, without losing the sponginess in the sound. In Oral it is a real, palpable space; Abisal is a cathedral of different times and spaces, with new textures, new creatures, all the seas, where the edges are not seen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eElena Córdoba, a magician of movement, anatomy, and poetry, “who with her lucid vision has helped me understand the curve of my journey, our journey,” says: “This album has something of a soft leap between the coldness of the abyss and the warmth of a mouth. For a long time, Silvia has sung to erase limits, to make them porous like membranes, and that search is one of the currents that I believe runs through Oral_Abisal.
